History: This cemetery was established on the property of Simeon Pfoutz, the pioneer of Kettle Creek. Six graves were moved on May 26-27, 1959 from the old Pfoutz-Werts Cemetery into North Bend Cemetery. The reinterments were done under the direction of J. Emmett Brislin, Funeral Director. Religious rites were conducted by Rev. Norman C. Larsen, liaison representative of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers of Baltimore, Maryland. No map has been located to show their layout. |
